Acoustic Testing

To demonstrate compliance with a project’s acoustic performance requirements, Sol Acoustics carries out sound insulation testing in part-completed or completed buildings in accordance with the relevant British Standards, such as BS EN ISO 140-4 and with BREEAM requirements.

Sol Acoustics is a member of The Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) and is qualified to perform sound insulation testing under the ANC’s accredited testing scheme to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of Approved Document E of the Building Regulations.

Measurements of internal ambient noise levels are performed to demonstrate compliance with a project’s specific requirements or with the requirements of BREEAM.
